Why Learning Something New Is Worth the Discomfort

Starting something new can make a capable person feel like a beginner again. That is uncomfortable. It is also one of the ways we stay alive to possibility.

After years of knowing our role, we may avoid anything that exposes what we do not know. But a new season is not a test of everything we have mastered. It is an invitation to remain teachable.

Grace gives us room to learn slowly, ask questions, make mistakes, and try again. Being a beginner does not diminish your experience. It adds another chapter to it.
