Grace for the Next Chapter — Give Yourself the Gift of Time

While I was cooking a Low Country Boil, I found myself thinking about how some of the most important things in life simply cannot be rushed.

Whether we’re navigating a new chapter, healing from a hurt, or learning something new, we have to give ourselves the gift of time.

Just like the ingredients in that pot, our knowledge, experiences, mistakes, memories, and unexpected moments need time to come together and become something meaningful.

And maybe that’s the beauty of it all. We don’t have to have everything figured out today.

Sometimes growth isn’t about getting there faster. It’s about being open to what we discover along the way.

Trust the process. Give yourself some grace. And never stop being curious about who you’re still becoming.

Today’s Step: Pick one thing today you’ve been trying to hurry — a decision, a healing, a person, yourself — and give it time instead of pressure. Just for today.

A question to sit with: What in your life right now doesn’t need to be fixed — it just needs more time?

Pass the pebble. Create a ripple.
