Motivation is helpful, but it is a poor boss. It arrives strong, disappears without notice, and leaves many good intentions unfinished.
One lesson connects military training, classrooms, athletics, and ministry: what we practice becomes easier to repeat. We do not need heroic effort every day. We need one small action that fits real life well enough to do again tomorrow.
Grace frees us from all-or-nothing thinking. Missing a day is not failure. It is an invitation to begin again without shame.
TODAY’S STEP: Choose one useful action small enough to repeat for seven days.
REFLECTION: What could become part of your life if you practiced it instead of waiting to feel motivated?
