Every Season Has Its Harvest

October 1, 2026

I went to Ellijay today with a group from church, looking for apples. This harvest calendar stopped me.

Different apples. Different seasons. Each ripening in its own time.

I needed that reminder.

Some seasons of life are wonderful. Others are hard enough that simply making it through takes everything we have. We don’t have to pretend those seasons are easy—or rush to find a lesson.

But we can leave room for beauty. For grace. For growth we may not recognize yet.

Looking at that sign, I wondered how often I’ve expected myself to bear fruit before my season was ready.

Maybe you’ve felt that, too.

Whatever season you’re living through, give yourself a little grace. You’re allowed to grow at a different pace.

Pass the pebble to someone who needs that reminder today.
