Grace for the Next Chapter — When Grace Shows Up in Work Clothes
We sometimes expect grace to arrive with music swelling in the background and every loose end suddenly tied. More often, it shows up in work clothes.
It is the neighbor who brings supper without asking for the whole story. The friend who drives you to an appointment. The person who notices the job is too heavy for one set of hands and quietly takes hold of the other end. Jesus washed feet. The early church shared what it had. Love has always had a practical side.
Do not overlook grace because it looks ordinary. And do not wait for a grand gesture when something useful is already within reach.
TODAY’S STEP: Offer one concrete kindness: a meal, a ride, a repair, a phone call, or an hour of help.
REFLECTION: Who has shown you grace by simply helping with what needed doing?
