We need boundaries. They protect time, health, and relationships. But a boundary can quietly become a wall when it keeps out every hard conversation, every request, and every person who might disappoint us.
Healthy boundaries say, “I can care without carrying everything.” Walls say, “I will not risk being known.” One creates room for honest relationship. The other creates distance and calls it peace.
Grace gives us both courage and wisdom: courage to say no when necessary, and wisdom to stay open when love asks us to listen, forgive, or speak truth.
TODAY’S STEP: Examine one boundary. Is it protecting what matters or avoiding what needs attention?
REFLECTION: Where might grace be asking you to stay open?
