I like a plan. A plan gives people direction and keeps a day from becoming chaos.
But life does not promise to cooperate with the plan. A diagnosis changes it. A phone call changes it. Retirement, grief, a closed door, or an opportunity can change it.
When that happens, the question is not only, “How do I get my old plan back?” Sometimes the better question is, “What still matters here?”
The route may change while the purpose remains: love people, serve somebody, stay faithful, and keep learning. Grace is not limited to the road we expected.
TODAY’S STEP: Name what still matters, then do one thing that serves it.
REFLECTION: What purpose can you carry into a changed plan?
